Just the word Love stirs what we hope for.

I don't believe in Unconditional Love. But I believe in God, and yes, he is Unconditional Love.

Humanity was not given the Gift of Unconditional Love, but it was given the Gift of Love.

Unconditional Love cannot exist, where it is possible to suffer.

God does not suffer. There is no way to make God suffer. It doesn't matter what we do to him, say, do in his name, deny him, insult him or forget, it doesn't matter to him, he will always love us, his Love is unconditional, because he is Love, we don't need to classify him as “Unconditional”.

But Humanity suffers. Each of us at every moment can be happy or sad, and what we are always looking for is well-being, the best possible.

And we love… we love a lot, we love to love, we love to be loved, we are always attentive to it, because we know that Love brings us well-being. As soon as we recognize Love as part of us, we want to love until we burst... and only then do we calm our hearts to love patiently and wisely, and in the meantime, loving made us suffer... and then we give it another name: passion.

And we separate things… passion is fire, loud laughter, enthusiasm, tight kisses, fireworks. Love is peace, tranquility, smiling with confidence and walking hand in hand. Passion has more adjectives, but Love doesn't need them. Passion is daily, but Love is eternal. Passion tires, but Love fills. The source of passion is Love, but Love is the source of itself. No matter how fast passion runs… Love always wins. It is this magic and mystery that dazzles us.

We learn, from experience, that passion comes and goes, and Love is like that too. We discover that we do things when we love, and they do things for us when they love us, but sometimes they don't, and that doesn't make us feel good. And then, at some point in our life, it comes to us that “Unconditional Love” exists. It is that love that always endures, is eternal, is there to nourish us. It's ours.

We feel that our Love is Unconditional, and everything is fine. We forget that we are not God. And neither are those we love, they are people.

People with their own will, dreams, callings, addictions, problems and shadows.

And we want the Love that someone has for us to be unconditional, because we don't want to lose it, because the simple idea of someone stopping loving us makes us suffer, not too much, but enough to put thoughts of doubt in our hearts. But it's not.

And it is then that in the midst of so much Love… we suffer. And who made us suffer? who we love.

And everything falls, we put our hand on our chest to hold the heart that isn't there... it's shattered on the floor... and yet, we still love with every little bit.

And we point the finger of accusation: “your love is not unconditional!”. Well, neither does ours, but we never want to admit that.

Whoever says that love doesn't hurt has never loved... or - fortunately - has never suffered. The Love within us is strong, and seeks to resist. And he resists... and he resists, he wants to stay there, hugging his heart. Love doesn't want to go away, and waits patiently for the suffering to end, but when it doesn't, there's only one thing to do.

And Love... wise, courageous, humble and eternal... opens its arms... frees its heart... and leaves.

Ali doesn't want to be there, because he doesn't want to make anyone suffer, if he were unconditional, the suffering would always be there.
